Assignment: Day 6~Time Capsule

Earlier this week, I told you I’d be taking photos of parts of my daily life for my Time Capsule.
As I said then: we often concentrate on capturing special moments like birthdays, trips, celebrations, etc.
Those are fine, but it’s fun to catch the every-day routines in your lives, once in awhile too, especially if you
have children, parents, grandparents, siblings or pets living with you.

It’s interesting to take a look at your Time Capsules a few years from now and see what changes occurred.
Perhaps you changed your hairstyle,  your children have grown up,  you’ve added a new pet, or you
moved to a new home.

“When you look back everything is different, but while you’re living your everyday life, it seems
as if nothing is changing.”  Unknown

Here, then, is a tiny capsule of my everyday life.

Assignment Day 5: Time Capsules

Time Capsules.   Capturing ordinary blocks of time in our life.

“The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine.”  ~Mike Murdock

My assignment for the next two days is to take photos of the ordinary daily routines around my home.

Too often we get caught up in capturing special moments like trips, birthdays, weddings, and other special occasions,

but our lives revolve around the simple things, our every-day routines.  How nice to stop, once in awhile, and capture those

moments.  If you have children, pets, parents or grandparents, living with you~then those kinds of ordinary moments will be very

special in the future as you look at the growth of children, pets, or cherish the memory of those who have passed away.

Thursday we will learn to make a Time Capsule, and I’ll post it.  (MAYBE!!)   Just kidding!

Daily routine: checking the amount of snow on the sidewalk, and looking for deer.....

Checking through the window for the amount of snow that fell on the sidewalk overnight,
and looking for deer!  (iPhone/Instagram)

Thanks for visiting!
Come back on Thursday!
